Just made a grilled cheese with pepperjack daiya and hummus. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD.

I was going to take a picture but I forgot because THERE WAS NO TIME!!!!!!!!

This is WAY overdue but that guy Dante you posted about -- was that at Fairbean? Cause i'm a 512-er too, and he is ALWAYS THERE and omg...

Okay I feel horrible because like I cannot remember what you’re referring too…but it’s like on the tip of my brain. What exactly was it about?

It definitely wasn’t at Fair Bean though, I never really go there. Man you’re in Austin…want to be friends?!?!? Lol

Hey! Do you have like a "master post" of some of the workouts/diet stuff you do? I'd love to know what fitness routine you have since I'm like an exact replica of your beginning size. P.S. You are awesome!

WELL I don’t necessary have a “master post,” but here is an overview of what I do:

-What I eat. On a normal day, I drink a vanilla soy latte within the first hour or two of waking up (I know, I know I have a problem), then have a sandwich (hummus or tomato and avocado are my favorites) an hour or so later, then snack throughout the day (soy yogurt, buckwheat blueberry waffle, soup, muffins, veggies and hummus, chips and salsa, a bit of whatever I’ve made for that week…I normally post a grocery list and links of what I’m making), then probably have another sandwich for dinner (I’m obsessed) or some of whatever I made that week (I like cooking on one or two days of the week and then eating that throughout the week) and then a dessert snack (I have a major sweet tooth) like peanut butter on a rice cake with a bit of cacao nibs or chocolate chips. I try to eat clean, aka whole grains, fruits, veggies, etc and avoiding processed foods. (BTW sorry for the blogilates link, I really dislike what Cassie does, but it’s a good link.)

-After every time I work out, I drink a protein shake with chocolate almond milk, raw hemp protein powder, pb2, a banana, and ice. Sometimes I get crazy and add cacao nibs, nuts, oatmeal, or frozen fruit.

-When I’m trying “hard” to lose weight (I don’t worry about that so much anymore though), I count calories. I try to net about 1300-1500 calories a day (meaning: if I burn 300 calories working out, I eat 1600-1800 calories that day). I’m not super strict about calories though…like I’ll eat something that’s more caloric if it’s healthy (like adding avocado to my sandwiches, or eating nuts for a snack, or getting whole grain bread instead of those “100 calorie” slices.) It’s just more of a guide.

-I drink lots of water. Like 3-4 liters a day.

-When I first started losing weight, I did C25k.

-For awhile, I did LiveFit. I really like the program and now have incorporated parts of it into my workout routine. Now, I do 30 minutes of HIIT-like cardio on the elliptical (they have a “weight loss” program that I really like…it’s broken down into a few minutes low intensity, then high intensity, the low…keeps me focused and not bored), then do 30-45 minutes of a LiveFit Phase 1 weight training session. So like cardio 4-5x a week and weight training 4x a week following this.

So that’s it! I think another important thing is to not judge your “progress” on how much weight you’ve lost, but on how you feel. Health is a much better goal than some silly number on the scale. Which is why I recommend just eating clean and working out, but obviously if you want to lose weight, it’s your body do what you want with it! (I just hope you treat it well! lol)

I just wanted to say, please don't let that cruel bitch get to you, you're really awesome! :D She just seems like a bitter-hearted person who wants to spread her anger and bad feelings to others in attempt to make herself feel superior.

Thank you, Anon!

lol what cracks me up about this madison kid

fitgirlfriend:

if you go through her progress pictures shes like.

LOOK HOW MUCH SKIN IM SHOWING, LOOK HOW SHORT MY SHORTS ARE WHEN I WAS FAT, I WAS SOOOOOO CONFIDENT GUYS. EVERYONE SHOULD LOVE THEIR BODY LIKE I DO BECAUSE ITS JUST SO FUCKING EASY TO DO JUST LOOK AT ME BLATANTLY POINTING OUT OBVIOUS THINGS THAT OBVIOUSLY MEAN IM CONFIDENT, WHICH ISNT UNDERMINED AT ALL BY THE FACT THAT I EVEN FEEL THE NEED TO POINT THEM OUT TO YOU.

js. lawl.

You truly are scum.

“Before and after” pics 99% of the time are full of body shaming and self-hate. I don’t want to perpetuate that. I point out that stuff to help negate the body shaming of most before and afters. That’s why I don’t post my weight on my pics anymore.

I don’t know what your story is with your body, but when I hated my body I covered it up all the time. I live in Texas, and even in the 100 degree summer I would wear jeans and hoodies. I felt so uncomfortable in shorts and dresses and anything without long sleeves that I didn’t even try them on because it would make me feel so…idk skirmy and weird inside. It wasn’t until after I started accepting myself and rejecting all of that fatphobic bullshit that I started not only wearing that stuff, but feeling good in it. That all happened way before I started this weight loss journey, just to clarify.

It’s important to me to point out what may seem “obvious” to you because I don’t feel 100% confident every day and I need to remind myself of that so I don’t get back to feeling like that…and I don’t want other people to feel like that either. I don’t want to reinforce any of that negative bullshit that usually accompanies fitblrs or make anyone feel bad for being any weight.

So fuck you for attacking me for pointing out that I felt beautiful when I was 60 lbs heavier and that I didn’t lose weight because I hated myself.
